Assert yourself consistently

One of the most important keys to creating a healthy, beautiful body is learning to assert yourself consistently in your life. Many people with body issues have a pattern of doubting themselves, of being afraid to trust their feelings and act on them. They especially need to learn how to say “no” to others when they don’t want to do something. When our first priority is to please and take care of others, we are denying who we really are and what we really feel. When we are afraid to be true to ourselves, our bodies serve us by reflecting these fears, so we can become conscious of them and heal them.

Today I am willing to assert myself.
